Why should I use an insurance broker instead of a comparison site?
Comparison sites focus mainly on price over cover. A broker helps make sure you have the right cover and can explain policy differences, exclusions, and options clearly. Thus avoiding issues should you need to make a claim.
Are you independent insurance brokers?
Yes. We are an independent broker, meaning we work with a range of insurers and specialist providers rather than representing just one company, and we’re completely unbiased in who we place you with.
What types of insurance do you arrange?
We offer a wide range of general SME business and personal insurance products for our customers, including property, motor, liability, travel, landlord, and more with hospitality being a specialist area of ours. Just browse our website to get an idea of what we offer.
Do you only insure customers in Cornwall and Devon?
Not at all. Although we’re based in the lovely county of Cornwall and have a walk-in office for customers to speak with us face to face, we arrange insurance for customers throughout the UK. We insure lots of customers in Scotland.
Can I speak to a real person?
Absolutely. It’s what we prefer. Our team is available to provide advice and help guide you through the process throughout the week and on Saturday mornings.
How do I file a claim?
If you can, speak to us first so we can advise and explain the claims process, it can vary from product, insurer and claim type. We’ll support you throughout the claims process and help liaise with insurers where needed to get your claim settled as swiftly as possible.
If we’re unavailable and it’s urgent, check your policy wording where claim contacts can be found.
Can you cover unusual or specialist risks?
Yeah sure. We’re often tasked with finding cover for non-standard or harder to place risks. Get in touch, we can discuss your risk and advise if we can help.
Will you remind me when my policy is due for renewal?
Yes. Even if you forget, we don’t. We provide renewal support, reviewing the market and contacting customers in advance of the policy expiring.
Can I adjust my policy details mid-term?
Absolutely. Our team can help arrange amendments, additional cover, or policy adjustments during the term of insurance. On top of any insurers charge, we charge just £15 to make any adjustments, much cheaper than most.
